From top to bottom, left to right shows the process of how I constructed my Franken-toaster cozy. I am still working on how to hand sew fabric better to yarn and sew knitted pieces together. For some reason I am still frightened of my tiny sewing machine. I want to use it; however, I still haven't gotten around to learning how to thread the sewing machine. It never came with an instruction manual, which would be easier than trying to sit at the computer with me since my tablet and phone screens are too small. It is on my 'crafting to-do list', when I am feeling ambitious (this is currently rather low right now, working on that too). As always there was some hiccups, I can't seem to translate my measurements to the actual knitting process. If anyone has types for that, please do share! Despite the hiccup in sizing, and sewing, I do love my toaster cozy and intend on making on for my kettle! And it probably won't match, which is fine. The cozy adds some colour to my kitchen. which I truly enjoy, and I did have quite a bit of fun trying to give my toaster 'fittings'. This was a quick little blog for today since it's hot, my computer isn't making that any better and I would like to wrap up for the day asap so that I can curl up with my audio book and continue to work on more Franken-projects!! Or knit some grocery bags, which is what I am currently attempting to do! Bye for now!
