Last week I attempted to create a new blog site and at the time I wanted to say a few words about how this can be really a overwhelming experience (which really connects to Oct 29th's blog, which I posted to my private Facebook page - if you missed it, I posted it here)…
As some of you might know, I had a blog site that unfortunately got hijacked by the company's need for ad revenue. Now, don't get me wrong, in a weird way I understand. We live in a capitalist world and the need for money has replaced quite a few things. It has become connected with survival. However, I think that there are a few more things that are in a way more crucial to our survival than money. And one of those things in connectedness (Google spell check recognizes disconnectedness, but not without the 'dis' - interesting). This need to be connected and stay connected is why I wanted to start a blog for my business!
It is a struggle to build a website without money, however being connected is crucial to forming a business and keeping customers. Two essential elements for a successful business. I have three websites now and have constructed five total (my original Facebook site, my new Facebook site, my site that I built in the course that I took, my old blog site, and now this new blog site). I will hopefully be putting together a store that I can use efficiently and I hope that this site will be more efficient as well. The point of this week's blog is that in order to get anywhere, you have to keep trying until it finally works! And more importantly, KEEP WORKING so that it doesn't fall apart.
